Sulphur Cloud!

“Along with bats, this creature is designed to be a simple, easy to beat monster, and to help liven up the game world.”

These past few weeks I decided to try my hand at something different…

I don’t know how many of you know this, but when I first joined the team, my tasks included working on the pixel-art. At the time I wasn’t very experienced at it, and we have since acquired our lovely pixel artist Stoo. (Though I am still proud of the tile textures I drew!)

While my main role in the team is now concept art, recently I’ve been doing some pixel-art again! And with the newest coolest creature you guys have ever seen or heard of!!!

Fart Cloud!

Sulfur

Or Sulphur Cloud if you like… (we’ve not decided on a name for it yet).

This bad boy is a floating cloud that floats around and explodes in the face of its enemies, which is pretty much anything really… It’ll form out of special large cracks in cave walls, where there is a sulphur deposit.

Along with bats, this creature is designed to be a simple, easy to beat monster, and to help liven up the game world. They are pretty harmless on their own since they won’t do a lot of damage, but they still might surprise you when you go around a corner. They might start to get scary in groups though!

And hey, maybe they’ll give a cool resource when you kill them?? *wink wink*

Finally, if you see or hear any Dwarves going on about moving barrels, just ignore them! You can go crazy in these dark caves! Seeing things that are not there!Hoarder Idle

It’s nothing to worry about okay?
