27th January 2018 – Martyn
“Here at Nysko Games we believe in putting players first and delivering on an enjoyable experience.”
We hope you all had a great Christmas and New Year! Hopefully there wasn’t too many drunken casualties over the holidays 😛
I wanted to focus this blog on what we have in store this year and I can confidently say that you won’t be disappointed. This month marks two years of working at the Games Hub and honestly it doesn’t feel like two years ago when we joined. It is, however, a sobering reminder of how much hard work and dedication has gone into this game and honestly, I’m proud with how far the game has come considering that everyone in the team is only working on it part-time.
With that said, I am happy to announce that 2018 will mark the release of The Dwarves of Glistenveld in early access on Steam. When we release the game on Steam, we will be releasing it in Early Access, meaning that not all content will be available from launch, but we will continue to work on the game and release free updates which will provide players with new content. At the very least players will be able to enjoy:
- A condensed, directed singleplayer campaign (with an end-game boss)
- New buildings, combat mechanics & more
- Basic LAN multiplayer matches
- The game’s extensive Level Editor, so you can make your own scenarios!
I want to refrain from promising too much, but at the very least this is what players can expect from our initial early access launch. Anything else that we are able to achieve between now and then will be a bonus 🙂
Here at Nysko Games we believe in putting the players first and delivering on an enjoyable gaming experience. Rest assured that we won’t be dropping the game any time soon after launch, since we are determined to finish what we set out to make years ago.
On top of this, we plan on attending the Norwich Games Festival again this year, running from the 28th May – 3rd June. If you’ve never been, I highly recommend it! And plus you can come meet us!
Stay tuned for more updates and information and look out for us as you’re browsing the vast world that is the internet! 😉
