“Apart from this we also need to prep for a couple of upcoming events: Rapture 2 and Game Anglia both of which we will be attending.”
With a patch for our 2nd Alpha coming out in the next couple of weeks, we’ve been starting to think ahead for our next build and what we want to include when we launch into early access on Steam. We’ve decided to cut some content out of the next build, simply because we do not have the money or manpower. With every member of the team having a part-time job or in education, we’ve really had to think about what we can realistically add into our next build, whilst still delivering a polished, fun and interactive experience.
So where do we go from here?
Well as I’ve mentioned we plan on releasing a patch for our 2nd Alpha which we hope will be sent out in the next few days. At the same time, we will be working on content (i.e maps, art assets & animations) for the next build of the game. Once the patch is finished, we will move onto building the campaign map UI as well as starting on integrating a Multiplayer mode. In terms of art assets, we are hard at work creating the four goblin classes, new animations for the dwarves and the buildings and environmental pieces will also get an overhaul.
Apart from this we also need to prep for a couple of upcoming events: Rapture 2: Colchester and Game Anglia: Ipswich both of which we will be attending. Rapture is only a couple of weeks away with Game Anglia happening just a week after that. So on top of everything we’ve got going on in the background we’re also prepping for these events.
We are looking into having more PCs at these events so that more people will get the chance to play the game. In addition we’re currently designing some small memorabilia for some Goodie bags we are considering handing out at these events 🙂 If anyone is interested in going to one of these events, Rapture 2 is being held once again at the Charter Hall in Colchester on the 11th & 12th of November. Game Anglia is being held at the University of Suffolk in Ipswitch on the 18th & 19th of November. Follow the links to each event at the bottom.
With that said, you can see we are going be super busy over the next few weeks and with Christmas fast approaching I think I’ll be spending most Christmas either sleeping or guzzling my favourite ales 😛
Anyway check out the links below and grab yourself a ticket if you want to meet us and say hi and of course have a spin at our game!
